If you know how to solve this problem, please let me know, any help is appreciated. I could be wrong, but I have used and installed your Office suit from the beginning and have never had this trouble before. I hope you are successful with Office 2007 or at least with OpenOffice, Tr圓 - a user. It seems that Microsoft are preventing the latest windows 10 users from installing your Libre Office suite, and removing the old one at the same time. It would certainly not complicate your search for a solution to the current problem so you could install it to keep you working while you tried to sort the problem out. I tried to install as an Administrator because this should allow changes to the registry, but windows 10 now will not allow your latest install to be run with Administrator privileges, although other programme install packages can still be run as an Administrator. Thus Libre Office is removed if I try an upgrade. Windows allows the installation to begin and once the old version of Libre Office has been removed, the installation of the new version is stopped with the message the unauthorised changes to the registry have been prevented. Barring this, Office 2007 should install without a hitch right? Guess not.Hi since the latest windows 10 update I have been unable to install the most recent Libre Office suite, it fails on various laptops with different anti-virus suits running. It was an absolutely fresh install on a formatted drive, all that I’d installed so far were some device drivers. For now, I’ll stick to a problem I had when I tried to install Office 2007 on the newly installed Vista machine (a problem which Google couldn’t remedy). I was able to download the setup program. I won’t be blogging about all of it as there’s simply too much, instead I’ll be releasing an article shortly describing the whole process. Office 365 setup wont open (windows 10) Gday, I downloaded the trial version of Office 365 last week and since then I have been trying to install it on my new laptop. All the other methods on the internet apply to older versions of Windows. I cannot remove Office 2007 via the control panel. I have Office 365 installed which I use and also have a copy of Office 2007. I’ve blogged the whole process, moving from the usual XP environment to Vista, all the new features, annoyances, problems and so forth. I got a message that I could not operate with two versions of Office installed. Yes, Office 2003, Office 2007, Office 2010, Office 2013, and the upcoming Office 2016 are fully compatible with Windows 10. Oh to heck with that! Having tried Vista on my laptop, I craved for seeing it expose it’s full potential on a more capable machine. For work purposes I simply have to have a functional desktop computer. Uninstall Office Go to Uninstall Office from a PC and follow the steps to uninstall the version of Office (or stand-alone Office application, such as Visio or Project) you don't want. If they say no, ask to speak to a supervisor. They should enable the system to allow the activation to complete. Explain that the other 2 machines are no longer working and you want to transfer the installation to this computer. I have 2 other laptops with the exact same setup Windows 10 Pro/Office 2007 working perfectly fine, along with various old versions of Visual Studio. To fix this error and switch from 32-bit to 64-bit (or vice-versa), you must do the following in this order. Wait until you are given the option of talking to a service rep. Ok, so I’d promised myself that I would at least give it a month before I’d install Vista on my desktop computer as I simply will not be able to cope with having major problems here. I have Windows 10 Professional 64bit on a Lenovo laptop on which I need to run Office 2007 Professional - and not anything else, for compatibility purposes.
